BROOKESkey Entitlement

Welcome to the BROOKESkey

a smarter way to travel for students and staff

Oxford Brookes University students and staff are entitled to the BROOKESkey. Most students are eligible for free travel on the BROOKESBus (a £1 supplementary fare is required on Night Services) – check this flowchart to see if you are eligible for an inclusive BROOKESkey.

If you are not eligible for free travel, you can top-up your BROOKESkey with products such as the BROOKESbus Annual Pass or Semester Pass, along with further discounts exclusive to BROOKESkey holders including key benefits which offers discounts at various places around Oxford including cafés, bars, restaurants & theatres.

Commencing in the 2020/2021 academic year, all new BROOKESkey applications will now be fulfilled via the Oxford Bus Company app.

This will make the application process quicker for you, and allow you to store your BROOKESkey pass on your phone for easy access. The app also contains many other great features such as journey planning, live bus tracking, and tickets for other services such as coaches to Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

If you are going to be staying in Halls, you may be entitled to receive a BROOKESkey pass as part of your Halls fees. The BROOKESkey application incurs a charge of £10.
